There have been several leaks on Lenovo's new device Moto G and Moto G Plus. The Moto G5 phone has been recently certified by the FCC (Federal Communications commision) which indicates that its release is drawing near.
Earlier in January, Lenovo started sending media invites for the launch of its upcoming phone. The unveil event of the device is scheduled to occur on Feb. 26 just before the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017 that begins on the next day.
Moto G5 Specifications and Features
According to the FCC report, the Moto G5 will come equipped with a 3,000mAh capacity battery. It also indicates that the device will support fast charging and NFC connectivity. Speculations are rife that these specs belong to Moto G5. It is pegged to include DTV dongle, which can be used as a TV tuner, Moto G3 reported. The phone is speculated to come in silver and gold color variants.
Now that the Moto G5 has been cleared FCC certification, it is expected to get announced at MWC 2017 next month. The Moto G5 is slated to get announced alongside Moto G5 Plus.
Moto G5 smartphone is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch display and will support full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is said to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset.
The smartphone is rumored to sport a 4 GB of RAM and a 16 GB internal storage. It is expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The Moto G5 Plus is said to come loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. Both the devices are likely to feature fingerprint reader on the front below the display.
Latest updates on Motorola
It is officially confirmed that Moto E3 Power will be not getting Android 7.0 Nougat update. The device was released in September last year. Other devices like Moto G Turbo and the Moto G3 that were released before the Moto E3 Power will also not receive the Nougat update, according to Motorola's official blog.

Moto E3 Power sports a 5-inch display that supports HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by Mediatek MT6735P with Mali-T720MP2. The device is packed with a 2 GB of RAM and has internal storage of 16 GB.
The smartphone is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It is equipped with removable Li-Ion 3,500 mAh battery.
