Elcomsoft has discovered a security flaw on iOS 10 which may allow hackers to access Apple device backups.

Today, Apple users can now install the first beta version for the iOS 10.3 developer testing in devices, such as iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The updated iOS firmware will offer improved user security feature, floating keyboard, and new Review API.

According to 9to5 Mac, the Apple iOS 10.3 beta will add apps such as "Find My Phone" and "Find My AirPods" that will be specifically used to locate the devices mentioned on the app's names. Other improvements include Safari's Reduced Motion preference in web apps, new "Music App" on "Podcasts" app, and new Apple File System (APFS) support.

Another feature that should improve the user experience of iOS 10.3 beta users is the floating keyboard designated for smaller iPads. For now, it can be enabled through code settings in 7.9 or 9.7-inch iPads.

Developer Steve Troughton-Smith discovered the two "hidden" keyboards for the iPad. According to Phone Arena, the first keyboard floats above apps and other content in a window that also supports trackpad mode. The said keyboard could promote one-handed typing because user can open two apps in split-screen mode and enter text in both.

In addition, the second keyboard covers gesture input, which allows users to swipe left and right on keys for backspace and spacebar use.

Previously, developer Troughton-Smith also revealed a one-handed keyboard hidden on Apple's iOS 8 firmware. Through a twitter post, the developer showed a special keyboard that resembles other one-handed keyboards which can be moved on either left or right side portion, while the extra spaces include useful shortcuts buttons.

On another note, the iOS 10.3 beta version also allows app developers to respond on customer reviews on Mac app Store. Further, the "Managing App Store Ratings and Reviews" section in the iOS 10.3 beta documentation also mention that the developers using the SKStoreReviewController API "can ask users to rate or review app while they're using it, without sending them to the App Store."

Additional feature in the updated firmware expands the CarPlay feature. Now, users can be able to quickly access the last three apps used without the need to go to the Home screen first. In this beta version, Apple products will not include the "Theater Mode" or Control Center toggle yet.
