NetherRealm Studios has revealed new profiles of Robin, Poison Ivy, Bane, and Brainiac for "Injustice 2." They have also recently revealed that a new playable character has been revealed.
The game developers have updated the video game's official website with new character profiles. The new characters with profiles are Robin, Bane, Poison Ivy, and Brainiac. Robin has been confirmed to be playable with his new gameplay trailer, but the other characters have not yet been officially announced.
The currently confirmed playable characters in the video game so far include Batman, Blue Beetle, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Aquaman, and Atrocitus. NetherRealm's head Ed Boon revealed that they will include some obscure characters.
Bane was betrayed by the Regime and now he is currently pursued by Batman. He is currently planning to take revenge against his former masters, and turn Gotham City into one that he will rule over all.
Brainiac is a being that explores the universe, and collects knowledge to further his intellect and scientific prowess, according to another post on the official website of "Injustice 2." He finds out that the Last Son of Krypton is still alive and he wants to finish his accumulation of Krypton for his collection.
Poison Ivy was once a botanical biochemist with a goal to make the world safe for plant life to flourish. She joined the Society to further their common interest, which is brining mankind to its knees. In truth, all she wants is to ensure that plants will dominate the world in any new world order.
Robin is Damian Wayne, and the biological son of Batman. He was trained from birth by the League of Assassins, and has always struggled with his father's non-lethal code of honor. He now finds a new mentor, who is Superman, and he considers him to be more of a father than Bruce Wayne.
NetherRealm Studios recently revealed that the next confirmed playable character for "Injustice 2" is Black Canary. She has her own gameplay reveal trailer, which can be viewed below, and it showcases most of her moves, combos, and ultimate attack.
