OnePlus 4 Price, Release Date
OnePlus 4 is expected to arrive with a premium design. It is expected to feature a premium ceramic chassis which indicates that the device may carry an expensive pricing. Hence, rumors have rife that the OnePlus 4 would be priced at $499. As far as release date is concerned, it is expected to be launch at the end of Q2 2017.
OnePlus 5 Rumors
Some of the Chinese manufacturers are known for skipping number 4 in the names of their devices as it is considered unlucky. Device such as Sony Xperia Z4, Vivo V4 and many more have been skipped by various manufacturers. Hence, it is likely that instead of releasing OnePlus 4, the Chinese company may launch OnePlus 5, Phone Radar reported.
OnePlus 4/5 Specifications
Since the OnePlus 3T has released recently, the rumor mill has no new information on the alleged specifications of OnePlus 4/5. Previous rumors have hinted that OnePlus would continue to sport a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display that will produce a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
OnePlus 4 will be fueled by Snapdragon 835 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The device would be released preloaded with Android 7.1 Nougat along with the latest version of Oxygen OS. The inclusion of ceramic build on OnePlus 4 is expected to boast 5G signals. Hence, rumors are hinting that the device will carry support for 5G connectivity.
The ceramic housing was first seen on OnePlus X budget phone. Speculations indicate that OnePlus is working with same designer that constructed the ceramic chassis for Xiaomi Mi Mx that sports an amazing bezel-less design. Ceramic chassis will make the OnePlus 4 resistant to scratches and it will be to withstand higher temperatures, Tech Times reported.
OnePlus is currently silent on its 2017 flagship. Like last year, after releasing the OnePlus 4/5 in the second quarter, it may release its upgraded edition by the end of this year.
