New updates for "Overwatch" will feature Doomfist being teased in the roster , a new Match Condition option and "Capture the Flag" mode to remain in the game.
It seems that Blizzard Entertainment revealed more plans for "Overwatch" in their latest developer update as game director Jeff Kaplan announced that the custom game Server Browser will be coming to the game's PTR server soon, a long requested feature within community.
The Server Browser was announced previously as part of the company's year-end recap, which lightly touched on certain plans in "Overwatch" for 2017 and it appears Blizzard is now ready to take the next step. Kaplan goes on to explain the Server Browser for "Overwatch" as it allows players to created their own custom game which the game director describes as a "large variety" of custom options.
Other players are also able to search through the Server Browser for custom games set to public within a region, using the Browser’s searching and filtering features, but gamers can also create or search private matches too.
Aside from the Server Browser, Blizzard will likely retain the "Capture the Flag" game mode in "Overwatch" which is then called "Capture the Rooster", thus becoming a regular feature for "Overwatch".
Lastly, there is also an option from custom games which changes the mach conditions and reward players for XP, Engadget reported.
In other news, it seems that "Overwatch's" next rumored DLC character Doomfist could be coming soon in the game.
Someone from Reddit was able to post photos of a 3D model scale of Doomfist cargo payload as the new model revealed that the glass containing Doomfist's gauntletis broken.
The 3D model was found within the update’s files for "Overwatch", however, as the in-game payload still looks the same whether they are playing the live or PTR version of Numbani.
But the original Reddit user who unearthed the files also revealed that the update added 136 encrypted new models. Could this mean that Doomfist could be the next character joining "Overwatch's" roster?
"White Chicks" star Terry Crews previously posted a mocked audition tape for Doomfist, which viewers and "Overwatch" fans were delighted to see.
Crews has put his intense, yet comical vocal talents to work by reading reaction lines for Doomfist, with the character responding to certain previously recorded scenes and lines of dialogue from other "Overwatch" characters. "The Expendables" star has been vocal about playing the latest version of Doomfist in "Overwatch" as past reports and speculations revealed that three individuals have already wore the character's signature gauntlet.
Two of them are named Savior and Scourge, while the third person is called the Successor, in this case the next person to adopt the mantle of Doomfist.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
