The latest details for "Fallout 4" will feature a new high resolution pack for the PC and a new patch update for the PlayStation 4 Pro this week.
Bethersda Games Studios launched a 58GB high-resolution texture pack for "Fallout 4" in the PC via Steam. PC can now download the high-resolution pack for free as Bethesda put some "Fallout 4" screenshots up with the DLC, but at first glance they appear to be the same promotional shots distributed well before the game released rather than images of the high resolution textures.
In addition, PC users might want to have a higher system requirements than the base version of "Fallout 4", VG 24/7 reported.
Meanwhile, Bethesda also announced that PS4 Pro version of "Fallout 4" will also have an upcoming patch update within this week.
The update 1.9 patch will add new game features and in-game fixes in the PS4 Pro version. The features include Enhanced PS4 Pro Support, added category features for mods, the ability to sort Highest Rated and Most Favorited filters by today, week, month and all time, added number of ratings count to Mods Browsing Menu. added number of favorites count to Mod Details page, added required dependencies to Mod Details page and adding the latest version number and notes to Mod Details page
As for the in-game fixes in update 1.9, these include general performance and stability improvements within the game, improvements to Reporting mods categories, fixed occasional crashes while scrolling through Load Order menu and an improved Bethesda.net error messaging, Gamerant reported.
Bethesda also teased an update coming for "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition", on all gaming platforms, that along with the update to "Fallout 4 ", bringing in new features to Mod content for both games.
For now, gamers will enjoy the enhanced high-resolution of "Fallout 4" in the PC, while console users will just have to wait for the new patch update for the PS4 Pro within the week.
The sequel is currently the most successful game not just in the "Fallout" game franchise but in the company's history, more than "Skyrim" in terms of what they did during its development both pre and post production
"Fallout 4" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
