Its camera sensor will be housed in a round-shaped case. The improved camera sensor will also come with f/1.7 aperture and Rapid Focus feature, coupled with Sony's IMX 362 sensor. In addition, previous rumors suggest that the powerful camera will be equipped with dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus, laser autofocus and 4K video shooting.

In the image render featuring the back panel of Moto G5 Plus, the smartphone is also seen sporting a plastic chassis with metallic appeal, while the usual Moto batwing logo sits at the center.
