iPhone 8 release date soon as iPhone 7, 7 Plus discounts found at Best Buy

Best Buy holds its annual President’s Day sale where items smartphones like the iPhone 7/ 7 Plus are up for grabs. Covering a wide array of items, there is a chance that this special offer could be part of a move to clean up their inventory and make room for the upcoming iPhone 8.

Aside from the iPhone 7/ 7 Plus, there are plenty of tempting consumer electronic items to choose from. For smartphones, the iPhone SE, Samsung Galaxy S6, LG G5 and Sony Xperia XZ will be offered with big savings. The iPhone 7/ 7 Plus allows buyers to save up to $150, BGR reported.

HDTV sets and computers are also being offered at big price-offs plus more. Seeing that the Mobile World Congress 2017 will be taking place near the end of February, Best Buy is seen to be preparing for the new electronic items coming in.

While there are plenty to mention, a device that immediately comes to mind is the iPhone 8. Based on its traditional schedule, the next Apple flagship would normally debut by September. Seeing it launch by June 29 which is the anniversary date of the iPhone.

Also, there reportedly could be at least three iPhones coming in 2017. Aside from the refreshed iPhone 8, two other devices are suggested to come alongside it.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that there will be three new devices coming this year in a research note. The iPhone 8 is believed to be the one sporting a 5.5-inch OLED screen, joined by two other variants still sporting LCD displays, Mashable reported.

Another big change for the iPhone 8 is the improved camera it will sport. The larger screened variants may come with a dual-lens camera while the 4.7-inch will stick to a single camera. Wireless charging is also another highly anticipated feature to look forward to though it may require the purchase of a separate accessory.

With time to spare, more features on the iPhone 8, iPhone 7s, and 7s Plus are expected to ramp up in the coming months. Rival brands like LG and Samsung are expected to come first, possibly more once the Mobile World Congress 2017 kicks off on Feb. 27 in Barcelona, Spain.
