After Capcom shelled out quite a number of downloadable contents and add-ons to "Resident Evil VII: Biohazard," the developer is prepping up yet again to roll out another one. Players will get to use an all too familiar character in the game that has been teased early on.
Capcom took to Twitter to announce the arrival of a new game expansion dubbed "Not A Hero." The said tweet also revealed that the segment will have a story other than the game, and hinted that the protagonist will be chasing someone or something in the upcoming content.
Players and game critics alike took notice of Capcom's latest render of the hero, as it was compared from previous installments of "Resident Evil." As soon as Chris was teased at the tail end of "RE 7," it received multiple reactions from fans as they noticed a leaner version of the character in comparison to the Chris that they saw in "Resident Evils 5" and "Resident Evil 6," Polygon reported.
There are even speculations circling around that the "RE 7" Chris could be a just a clone, a twin brother of the original Chris, a son of Claire Redfield, and the most way off of them all is that he is Albert Wesker in disguise. Whichever theories fit in the bag, it is expected that Capcom is up to something in the upcoming expansion.
The aforementioned hint on who or what Chris will be chasing in the DLC also tickled the minds of fans. As of late, many believe that the only remaining member of the Baker bloodline - Lucas, will be the antagonist in the next game segment.
Currently, there are a couple of DLCs that were released for the game namely "Banned Footage vol 1 and 2." Moreover, aside from the forthcoming "Not A Hero" expansion, it was also revealed that another content will be released in the future, though no further details were disclosed about it, according to DualSHOCKERS.
"Resident Evil VII's" "Not A Hero" DLC will be dished out this Spring as a free to download treat. In the meantime, watch a video about the new expansion and the face models for each character in the game:
