Bandai Namco's "Dragon Xenoverse 2 will give fans another treat as game developer Dimps will be rolling out the Android 17 Raid event. The new event will bring in some nifty stuff provided participants meet some attainable requisites.
The event officially kicked off this Feb. 18 and players who took part on this got a common Hercule Badge instantly. Moreover, participants who slugged it out with the mad android in Conton City snagged a corresponding item depending on how much damage they have inflicted towards their formidable foe.
Players who will inflict 5,000 damage points to the powerful android will endow players with "Red Ribbon Army" and "Delightful" for nicknames. A set of Super Android 17 skins will also be unlocked once the aforementioned damage points have been reached.
The Super Soul "Now it's my turn!" will be unlocked once gamers manage to inflict 30,000 damage points towards the android. Lastly, 50 TP medals will be rewarded if players staggered Android 17 with 50,000 damage points, according to Bandai Namco's website.
As the game's Super Pack 2 is slated for release this February, fans believe that aside from Vados and Champa, other players are set to be included in the upcoming expansion. The Broly-looking female that is speculated to have hailed from either Universe 6 or 11 is now rumored to be part of the pack.
In an interview with Crunchyroll as cited by MStars News, game producer Mayasuki Hirano stated that fans have been requesting to add characters from "Dragon Ball Super" where publisher Bandai Namco would be glad to accommodate such request. He added that they feel a sense of responsibility to meet the expectations of fans as much as possible now that the show has introduced a new set of characters.
In line with this, news broke out that names of all 12 gods of destruction have been released to fans including details about the above-mentioned female Saiyan. "Dragon Ball Super" enthusiasts GovetaXV and KenXyro took to Twitter to announce such news to the fandom as "Dragon Ball Super" episode 80 will air this Feb. 26.
