Ashleigh Murry, Madelaine Petsch, Camila Mendes, K. J. Apa, Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, Casey Cott, Jon Coldwater, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Marisol Nichols, Luke Perry, Madchen Amick, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter star in 'Riverdale.'

"Riverdale" Season 1 episode 6 titled "Chapter Six: Faster Pussycats! Kill Kill!" aired on The CW on March 2, Thursday. One of the reasons why netizens talked about the episode on Twitter is the fact that Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) kissed Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart).

On a ladder, which was mysteriously sourced, Jughead climbed up to Betty's window. Hethen  took the opportunity to kiss Betty while she was talking about whether or not her sister Polly Cooper (Tiera Skovbye) was mentally ill.

The kiss apparently told the viewers that the Judghead in "Riverdale" is not asexual like the Jughead in Archie Comics. What is funny though was how the characters followed up the kiss in an anticlimactic way.

After being kissed by Jughead, Betty remembered all of a sudden Jason Blossom (Trevor Stines) had stashed a getaway car on Route 40, as mentioned by Polly. With Jughead's help, Betty found the car hidden under a tarp.

Betty and Jughead found a packed luggage inside the car along with Jason's varsity jacket and what seemed to be drugs. The two had no idea that somebody was watching from the shadows.

"Chapter Six: Faster Pussycats! Kill Kill!" was directed by Steven A. Adelson. The episode also featured KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Marisol Nichols as Hermione Lodge, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Madchen Amick as Alice Cooper, Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Ross Butler as Reggie Mantle, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Martin Cummins as Sheriff Keller, Robin Givens as Mayor Sierra McCoy and Reese Alexander as Myles McCoy, among others.

"Riverdale" Season 1 episode 7 titled "Chapter Seven: In a Lonely Place" will air on March 9. In the episode directed by Allison Anders, Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) will approach Betty with an unexpected proposal and a major piece of evidence will be destroyed mysteriously.
