Those who want to see Park Hae Jin in a prison uniform will have to wait for the release of an upcoming South Korean drama series. After "Cheese in the Trap," the actor will star in the JTBC series "Man to Man."
In "Man to Man," Park will play Kim Seol Woo, an agent of National Intelligence Service, the Korean CIA. The character will become the bodyguard of a popular actor named Yeo Woon Gwang (Park Sung Woong).
Kim Seol Woo is a man who is multitalented and mysterious. The story of "Man to Man" will revolve around the budding bromance between him and Yeo Woon Gwang as they encounter events with various twists.
The script reading for the upcoming JTBC series took place on Oct. 3, 2016. Filming started on Oct. 17 and still images of Park while filming in Hungary were released in November 2016.
Before shooting scenes in Hungary, Park met with some Hungarian actors for rehearsals, Koogle TV has learned. The Korean actor is also a master of martial arts moves but he had to train to adjust to the difference between Hungarian and Korean body builds.
Photos of "Man to Man" filming obtained by Drama Fever show Hae Jin wearing various outfits including a suit, a cassock and a doctor's white coat. In other photos taken in Budapest, Hungary, the actor is wearing an orange prison uniform.
Set to premiere on April 21 on JTBC, "Man to Man" is a romantic action thriller series directed by Lee Chang Min and written by Kim Won Suk. The writer is known for his work in "Descendants of the Sun," which starred Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo.
Joining Hae Jin and Sung Woong in the main cast of "Man to Man" are Kim Min Jung as Cha Do Ha, Yeon Jung Hoon as Mo Seung Jae and Chae Jung An as Song Mi Eun. Do Ha is Woo Gwang's fan club head while Seung Jae is a third-generation chaebol who is married to Mi Eun, a former Miss Korea.
