Kim Min Jun, who is professionally known as Jun. K, took to social media to give his fans an update about his condition after his boy band 2PM canceled the remainder of its concerts in Seoul, South Korea. On Feb. 26, he fell off a moving vehicle while singing and he fractured his right elbow and right ring finger.
"Jun. K has received surgery on his elbow and is currently resting," 2PM's agency JYP Entertainment said in a statement obtained by Yonhap News after the accident. The agency added that the singer strongly wanted to go on stage but the "6Nights" concerts were scheduled from March 3-5 at Seoul Olympic Park from were cancelled because of his health.
On March 4, Saturday, Jun. K posted a video of himself on Instagram. Wearing a cast on his finger and a sling on his arm, he told his fans that he is recovering quickly so they should not worry about him.
In the video, Jun. K apologized for surprising and worrying his fans. He added that he hopes to greet them again soon with good news.
Jun. K is the main vocalist of 2PM. He and his bandmate Taecyeon are scheduled to join the army this year.
2PM released its sixth studio album titled "Gentlemen's Game" on Sept. 13, 2016. Jun. K and Taecyeon's other bandmates are Nichkhun, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung.
