"Scarlet Heart: Goryeo" and its official soundtrack "For You" by EXO boys Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin won two of the 29 categories at the 12th Annual Soompi Awards. The drama series and the song won the Best Adaptation and Best Drama OST awards, respectively.
The winners of the annual survey were announced on March 2, Thursday, by Soompi. With Fuse and ZANYBROS as partners, the United States-based online news provider specializing in Korean pop culture received almost 100 million votes from hallyu fans from 139 countries across the globe from Dec. 19, 2016 to Jan. 16.
"Scarlet Heart: Goryeo" defeated nine other series in the Best Adaptation category. These were "The Man Living in Our House," "The Good Wife," "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds," "Lucky Romance," "Please Come Back, Mister," "Let's Fight Ghost," "Goodbye Mr. Black," "Cheese in the Trap" and "Entourage."
In the Best Drama OST category, "For You" defeated 14 other songs. These were "Always" by Yoon Mi Rae, "Everytime" by Chen and Punch, "Fondly Goodbye" by Sung Shi Kyung. "I Think I'm Done Sleeping" by Soyu and Yoo Seung Woo, "If It is You" by Jung Seung Hwan, "Like a Dream" by Ben, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" and "You are My Everything" both by Gummy, "My Person" by Park Bo Gum, "Once Again" by Mad Clown and Kim Na Young, "Ring My Bell" by Suzy, "Talk Love" by K.Will, "This Love" by Davichi, "What's Love" by Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo Seung Woo .
