Vin Diesel, lead actor of the "Fast and Furious" franchise, hints on a film plot gearing toward featuring Chinese flare.

Although Vin Diesel's wife, Paloma Jimenez, just delivered their new born child, the actor rushed to the advanced screening of "Furious 7" in Los Angeles.

Diesel took some time off from his daddy duties for the premiere to face the fans and introduce the seventh offering of the "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. Yahoo writer Jordan Zakarin recalls the actor holding off a few times to the point of almost turning on the waterworks, as he pays tribute to a co-star he had grown to be fond of since the very beginning of the movie franchise.

The actor in his modulated throaty voice told the crowd that the movie was "a labor of love" and in some profound ways, "the hardest movie" he has ever done. And reflective of the tragic vehicular accident that took the life of friend he once fondly called "Pablo," he then said, "When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother."

Emotions started to run high, then screams of "I love you" and "You're the man" echoed in the cinema. But the one that really moved the crowd, according to Allanah Faherty of Movie Pilot, was from a guy who expressed the affirmation, "You've got family here, Vin"

Diesel put an end to the tribute by letting the fans know that the movie is a gift to them and to the late Paul Walker.  "Furious 7" will the hit the theaters on Apr. 3.
