With the recent agreement between Marvel and Sony, it has been decided to have a reboot for the film "Spider-Man." Andrew Garfield will not be reprising his role as Spider-Man and Marvel is reportedly aiming for a younger actor to play the role of the adorable superhero.

Marvel's Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada verified last weekend as to which version of Spider-Man will be featured in the "Spider-Man" reboot - Peter Parker or Miles Morales. Fans are also wondering who the next Spider-Man is.

Quesada answered a query on Tumblr about the most important thing to make Spider-Man film the best that it can be. His answer relates to Peter Parker and his character, then everything will follow.

"The trick to making any incarnation of Spider-Man great, whether comics, animation or film is Peter Parker. Get Peter's character right and the rest falls into place," he said.

Now fans are curious as to who will be the next Spider-Man.

"The Maze Runner" lead actor Dylan O' Brien was rumored to be the next Spider-Man, but the actor confirmed that such rumors were false. In the first week of March this year, he gave his confirmation regarding his involvement in the Marvel film. According to the actor, he has not auditioned for the role and has not heard anything about it except online rumors.

"It makes me feel bad because I'm, like, disappointing a big chunk of fans across the nation," O' Brien said. "You can tell them that it's not true," he added.

Though the actor verified that he will not be Spider-Man, as rumored, he expressed his interest to play the role. He believes that becoming Spidey is a "big thing" for any actor his age.

Ansel Elgort is one of the actors who should play the new Spider-Man, as per Screenrant. The actor has played notable roles such as Tommy Ross in "Carrie" (2013), Gus in "The Fault in our Stars" (2014), and Caleb in "Divergent" (2014) and this year's "Insurgent".

About his possible involvement in the Spider-Man reboot, the 20-year old actor said that he has never done something like it before. He did not confirm if he will be the next Spider-Man or not. For Elgort, a superhero role is something big to do and "a big commitment." No confir

Spider-Man is assumed as a key character in the upcoming third installment film "Captain America 3: Civil War." His appearance on the said film will be an efficient introduction to his character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans have to wait for the official announcement on the upcoming film's cast, plot, and setting.

The reboot of the superhero film "Spider-Man", which is said to be entitled, "The Spectacular Spider-Man", is slated to premiere in cinemas on July 28, 2017.
