Halo

"Halo 5: Guardians" will be released on Xbox One exclusively, and will battle with "Uncharted 4" exclusive game for PlayStation 4 to be released next year.

When Sony and Microsoft announced their new consoles, the former took a lead because their platform was powerful and focused purely on gaming. However, the new Xbox console sold more units thanks to price cuts. Meanwhile, both consoles failed in terms of offering exclusive game titles.

The holiday season of 2015 was supposed to be the time when players could decide a winner based on the two big exclusives but with Playstation 4 backing out of the race, it is nearly confirmed that Xbox One is all set to win the competition this year, Eurogamer reported.

Unlike previous "Halo" games, 343 industries are taking a different approach this time with an engaging world where the mysterious relationship between Master Chief and Spartan Locke is being revealed. With a tightly knit story combined with an immersive world and impressive graphics as it has the best chances of being the most wanted console in 2015.

Microsoft has released two different teaser trailers on the Xbox Youtube channel which reveals Master Chief and Spartan Locke's perspective towards their fictional universe. It portrays Master Chief as a villain but nothing can be confirmed until the game launches in October. PS4 does not have any great titles either, except for the newly launched "Bloodborne," at the moment.

However, with E3 2015 coming up, it is to be seen if there are any new exclusive titles being launched for both platforms to make the competition even. If not, "Halo 5 Guardians" is going to be a clear winner, according to Gamespot.

"Halo 5: Guardians" will be released to Xbox One on Oct. 27.
