The new Coke Life has a bright green packaging which contains 35 per cent less sugar and lesser kilojoules than the ordinary Coca-Cola drink. The new soda has stevia as a sugar substitute.

Lisa Winn, Coca-Cola's local Marketing Director, explained that the new Coke Life is for those who wanted to have the taste of real sugar sweetness but without the artificial sweeteners taste that are found on Coke Zero and Diet Coke, according to Sydney Morning Herald.

Coke Life is the fourth soft drink to be launched in company's 128 years in business.

"Coke Life tastes as close as possible to regular Coke," explained Winn.

Winn also mentioned that the first two countries to have tasted Coke Life were Chile and Argentina in 2013. The company is in full hopes that this would be able to help fight obesity crisis.

However, experts explained that there is almost nothing different between the regular coke and the coke life. They still both contain excessive amount of sugars the is detrimental to a person's health.
