Suge Knight dismissed his lawyer who handled the robbery case he is involved with during a Los Angeles hearing on April 8, Wednesday.

The 49-year-old rapper mogul was previously accused of stealing the camera of a celebrity photographer after an argument in Southern California. Judge Ronald Coen asked Knight if he really wanted to fire his lawyer David Kenner and the rapper was certain about it. However, Knight did not issue any reason regarding his decision.

According to Reuters, Kenner was no longer present in the latest hearing and Knight's decision came as a surprise because he worked with the said lawyer in different cases in the past. The hearing was then moved on May 27 and Judge Coen noted that he can find a new lawyer until the said date.

In a video uploaded, Knight was seen being ushered into the court room while on a wheelchair that was coined as a "safety seat." He was placed on a wheelchair because he complained about his health in the previous hearings of the allegations thrown against him.

Knight complained about being on a wheelchair because he felt like it was an effort to humiliate him, according to USA Today. Knight walked from his jail cell before entering the bus and also walked into the courthouse but was placed in the safety seat before he was rolled in the court. Judge Coen said that if Knight was fit to walk, he will no longer be brought into court using the wheelchair.

Knight also has another case, which is the murder of one of the two men who he allegedly ran over using his vehicle. The killing happened outside a Compton burger joint last Jan. 29 after he got into an argument.

Knight is due to be back in court by Monday for the murder case and his attorney in the said case, Matt Fletcher, said that there will be evidence presented by the prosecutors.
