A new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 concept image emerged online showing off a dual edge screen display.

According to Concept Phones, the latest render was spotted in iSamsungGalaxyNote5.com. Including such screen display which seems plausible since the company first showed off the dual edge screen in the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. If the said feature will not land in the Galaxy Note 5, it may appear in the curved edge variant or the successor of Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

The screen display measures around 5.7 or 5.8 inches with narrower bezels and glass back panel similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6. Other features of the concept image are fingerprint scanner, metal casing, Exynos True 8 core CPU paired with 4 GB of RAM, and 20 megapixels.

Meanwhile, Android Origin reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will include a 4K screen resolution. Samsung is known for including screen displays with higher pixel density. Last year, the company pushed the quad HD resolution to its Galaxy Note devices.

If the device will pack a 4K screen display, it will need a more powerful processor. There are speculations saying that Samsung will be powered by the next generation of Exynos and Snapdragon SoCs for the different variants of the device.

Initial reports claimed that Galaxy Note 5 will pack the following features:

  • 5.9 inches in size with 4K screen resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 for protection
  • Samsung Exynos 3.2 GHz octa core processor
  • 4 GB of RAM
  • 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage variants
  • 19 megapixel with optical image stabilization and 4.7 megapixel front-facing camera
  • 3,700 mAh battery capacity
  • Android OS

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 release date will be in September at the IFA tech event in Berlin.
