Google recently announced the new Chromebook Flip as its official entry in the laptop-tablet hybrid department. It will battle head on with Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Both devices are hybrid device since they pack detachable keyboards that transform the device from a tablet to a laptop. Consumers like both devices since they are offered at a very low price. However, which is better?

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 OS. Chromebook Flip is its Chrome OS since it receives automatic updates. Moreover, all of the apps are web-based.
