'Grand Theft Auto' 6: Specs, Release Date, Speculations; Will It Have A Female Protagonist?

"GTA 6" release may happen more likely by 2018.

"Grand Theft Auto 5's" PC version was released just last week, along with the rumor that the sixth part is in the pipeline too. 

"Grand Theft Auto" game contains a lot of missions which are spread across various locations. Speculations are rife that "GTA 6" will be set in places like Middle East, London and Los Santos.

The creative head of Rockstar said that by staging the game in a different part of the world in every release, they get the creative flexibility of making the gameplay more interesting.

Moreover, "GTA" has been dominated by male characters for five seasons now. Rumors are rife that "Grand Theft Auto 6" might be getting a female protagonist. The lack of female presence was pointed out by the co-founder of Rockstar games himself.

Many Hollywood female leads like Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson are being considered for a game avatar. This move might electrify the already wild popularity of the game.

The sixth version will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC, along with the mobile application versions. 

The first "Grand Theft Auto" series was launched back in 1997 and it gained popularity within days of its release. Now, it is one the most popular video game series all across the world with over 150 million copies sold to its name, according to Ecumenical News.

Rockstar has lately been dropping hints that it is in the process of developing the "GTA 6" game and the gamers should be able to play it on consoles by 2017, according to Latino Post.
