Leaked Windows 10 Phone Build 10070 Features New Live Tiles Design

Windows 10 build 10070 for smartphones shows a revamped Windows Phone Live Tiles.

According to WinBeta, the new design of the Windows Live Tiles features reduced space between the tiles. This allows slightly larger tiles as well as create additional space to allow an extra row of Live Tiles on the side of the screen. The space between the tiles are also flexible depending on the type of Windows Phone and Microsoft is adding an option for users to control it.

Since the leak only features a photo, additional tweaks and changes are difficult to point out.

Industry experts say that Microsoft might be making spacing changes to the upcoming Windows 10 Phone. Some say that it might be a scaling issue since the operating system is running on the Samsung ATIV S, according to Ubergizmo.

Previous leaked builds also shows an added transparency setting. Microsoft has yet to confirm the legitimacy of the leaked photographs.

Ever since it was announced, Microsoft rolled out various builds for its upcoming Windows 10 operating system. This is for people to try the Windows 10 and possibly point out glitches to be patched before the official release of the operating system

Prior to the release of build 100070, Microsoft officially released its Project Spartan web browser to the public. Rumors has it that it will replace the current Microsoft Internet Explorer as the default Internet browser for the upcoming operating system.

Windows 10 will be the successor to the Windows 8 operating system and Microsoft plans to release it later this year.
