The universal Office apps of Microsoft like Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be seen by default in the latest Windows smart phones. They will be reflecting a taste of Microsoft Office 2016, as a sort of a preview.
Windows 10 will be launched in summer this year and all the users can get a technical preview of what is in store for them in the next version of Office suite products, according to CNet.
Microsoft wants to launch its "Everywhere OS" as soon as possible, said Jared Spataro who is the general manager for Office marketing with Microsoft, in an official statement on Saturday, Tech Telling reported.
Moreover, Spataro said that the current Office apps support a rather cramped space for writing and editing documents and the company is looking forward to change that in their next suite of products. Although these issues are not new, the company has long ignored them and is now fixing these old ghosts.
According to Spataro, the documentation process is getting more and more complex due to increase in work, and also because of the fact that people are not printing as much as they used to, in order to save paper. This is leading to a greater usage of word editing documents and it is an alarming time to fix these softwares and make them more user friendly.
The finger friendly versions of Office suites have been seen in some of the Windows smart phones since February this year and they seems to be a lot easier than the current version of Office tools. The company is still working on the final UI of this version.
The official release of the Office 2016 suite will be done by April end.
