The original writer of iconic 1980's comic series "The Dark Knight Returns" - Frank Miller is writing the sequel to the movie and is also planning to direct the movie.
The new movie will be titled "The Dark Knight 3: The Master Race" and writer Brian Azzarello will be joining Miller to write the script of the movie, according to Digital Trends. Azzarello is known for his astounding creations for "Wonder Woman". He said in a recent interview that Batman is his all time favorite super hero.
He also added that the audience must be prepared to watch a pretty rough and daunting sequel of "The Dar Knight Returns", according to The Verge. He further said that the entire team is putting their best foot forward to exceed the high expectations of the audience.
Azzarello added that he feels truly blessed to get a chance to collaborate the script writing with a legend like Miller and he further said that all the characters of the movie are characterized perfectly to give this movie an epic story.
The co-publishers of DC, Jim Lee and Dan DiDio said that they are really excited and proud to get Frank Miller onboard with them on the next movie. It is going to one hell of a legendary movie, according to them. They further said that people of all generations are going to love the movie, as the script targets a wider audience.
"The Dark Knight 3, The Master Race" will release this year, in the month of September. However, exact cast details or the exact release date is yet to be announced.
