Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith's daughter Willow Smith's new music video is out. The song entitled as "F Q-C #7" (pronounced as frequency number seven), is the celebrity child's new abum in two years.
Apart from her vocals, the 14-year-old also contributed in the creative visuals of the unique video. Willow is split herself into four similar dressed characters, wearing black, yellow, red, and blue with matching face paint in an attempt to represent four sides of her personality.
"The different Me's represent my Chakras," Us Weekly quoted the singer's statement. "Yellow is Self-confidence, Blue is my voice (song), Red is my survival instinct, and the Black is a combination of everything (the true me)."
The "Whip My Hair" star also co-directed the trippy video, in addition to writing and producing the tune herself. The song's lyrics are pretty sweet and simple, fousing on teen's life about climbing trees, skipping classes, and checking out someone's crush.
Despite her tender age, the song's xylophone and slinky harmonies sound far from those by an amateur.
The song premiered online on Thursday and is already gaining huge popularity. The video is quite similar to Alanis Morisette's Ironic 1996 video but has a refreshing feel to it, Daily Mail reported.
Following the song's release, Willow took to Twitter to inform her 3.7 million followers that writing "F Q-C #7" and directing the video to bring it into reality was one of her most exhilarating experiences.
The teenager is set to perform on June 18 at NXNE Music Festival happening at at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. Her new track is currently available on iTunes, Spotify and Tidal. Check out the new song.
Meanwhile, Willow's 16-year-old brother Jaden Smith, who was in news recently due to his androgynous attire, recently deleted his Twitter and Facebook accounts, and made his Instagram private apparently due to the extreme criticism.
