The mobile carrier Verizon is allegedly gearing up to bring upcoming and recently launched tablets and smartphones in the United States. The HTC Desire 526, LG G Pad X 8.3, iPad Mini 4 and the Xperia Z4 will be coming soon to Verizon based on a tweet from tipster Evan Blass. However, the exact release date is not known.
At present, HTC Desire 526 is available in India. It comes with 4.7-inch display with 540 x 960 pixels screen resolution and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The phone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. Other features include dual-SIM support, Li-Ion 2,000 mAh battery, 2 MP front-facing snapper and an 8 MP rear-facing camera with LED flash.
The LG G Pad X 8.3 seems to be the successor to the LG G Pad 8.3. The 8.3-inch tablet features a Snapdragon 600 chipset, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in memory that is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD.
According to rumors, the iPad mini 4 will run on Apple's A8X processor. However, other reports said that iPad mini 4 will actually run on the newer A9 processor that will power the iPhone 7, according to Venture Capital Post. The iPad mini 4 will have 802.11ac Wi-Fi and 2 GB of RAM and will have a slimmer design.
The Xperia Z4 is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset and features 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage with a microSD card slot. It also features a 5.1-megapixel wide-angle front camera, a 20.7-megapixel Exmor RS camera and full-HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The Xperia Z4 will run Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, Tech Times reported.
