Woody Allen recently revealed that he does regret every second since signing a TV series deal with Amazon while in Cannes for Cannes Film Festival, which will feature "Irrational Man" starring Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix.

In an interview with Deadline, Allen said, "I've never seen anything online at all. Nothing. I don't own a word processor. I have none of that stuff. It's not an act of rebellion. I'm just not a gadget person."

About the Amazon deal, Allen said he was convinced by the niceness of the Amazon Studios executives to create six half-hour episodes. On the other hand, he confessed, "I have regretted every second since I said okay."

Amazon Studios is the division of the largest Internet-based retailer in the United States, Amazon.com, that develops films, television shows, and comics from online submissions and crowd-sourced feedback.

Meanwhile, while at the Cannes for Cannes Film Festival red carpet, Allen almost stepped on Stone's white gown repeatedly, USA Today has learned.

Had Allen stepped on the gown, Stone would have suffered wardrobe malfunction.  Because of this, Cannes Film Festival director Thierry Fremaux volunteered to help the Oscar-nominated "Birdman" actress her along the final steps, which surprised the latter.

Written and directed by Allen, "Irrational Man" is about a distressed philosophy professor who commits an existential act after finding a will to live.

Joining Stone and Phoenix in the "Irrational Man" cast are "Portlandia" actor Parker Posey, "If I Stay" actor Jamie Blackley, "Men At Work" alum Meredith Hagner, and "A Most Violent Year" actor Ben Rosenfield, among others.
