Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Apple iPad Air 3 are both going to be released soon. However, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 specs include 16 GB RAM, which is a clear winner over Apple iPad Air's 2 GB RAM.

Microsoft and Apple are waging a tablet war with latest hardware and new features in order to sweep the market. Both the devices will be giving a tough competition to each other in terms of specifications and customer base.

Since the sales for Apple's current iPad's is witnessing a fall, Apple will be stepping up its game with the new Apple iPad Air 3, according to The Motley Fool. It will be powered with a quad core processor (A8X or A9 processor) which is too good in comparison to the three core processor in iPad Air 2.

It will also sport a 2 GB RAM along with a 9.7 inch screen. It is also rumored that the storage will get increased to 32 GB instead of the anticipated 16 GB, according to iPhone Watch Dog.

It is also reported that the new iPad will be as thin as the iPhone 6, with only 7 mm of thickness. It may also include an USB Type C connector, which can be seen presently in the new MacBook. Force Touch, Lightening Port are some of the other features which may be seen in the Apple iPad Air 3.

Now, to look at the specifications of Surface Pro 4, the series is faring a lot better than the Apple iPads currently. Surface Pro 3 is doing a brilliant job in the market, with consumers absolutely loving the device.

The Surface Pro 4 will be the largest ever Surface device, sporting a 12 inch screen or a 14 inches screen, if the latest rumors are to be believed. With a resolution of 2160 X 1440, users can expect a superb device soon. And as if this was not too awesome, the Surface Pro 4 will also include a 1 TB of internal storage. The fan less Haswell processors will make a comeback with this device.
