"Jurassic World" brings back fans to one of the ruins of the original "Jurassic Park."

Colin Trevorrow arrived in Beijing on Tuesday, May 26, to attend a press conference and promote his upcoming feature film, "Jurassic World," slated to open in China on June 10. Lead stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard were also in attendance.

"Jurassic World" is the fourth installment in the wildly popular "Jurassic Park" franchise.

It has been 14 years since audiences from around the world got to see some action from the science-fiction adventure film franchise. "Jurassic Park III," the movie series' third installment, was released in 2001. It is quite a long break, and it is perhaps one of the reasons why Trevorrow felt a mixture of pressure and excitement in anticipation of "Jurassic World's" release.

During the press conference, Trevorrow shared an exchange between him and legendary film producer Steven Spielberg, who happens to have directed the first two "Jurassic Park" films. Trevorrow told Spielberg that he would "go home and disappear" if he messed up the latest installment.

"Jurassic World" is expected to earn the Chinese box office 2 billion yuan (around $322 million). If things go well, the latest "Jurassic Park" feature film will be the second highest grossing film in China's box-office history.

Trevorrow and avid "Jurassic Park" fans are not the only ones excited for the film's release. Lead actor Chris Pratt, who plays trainer Owen Grady, is equally psyched.

Shortly after returning from his Beijing trip, the movie actor updated his Facebook page with the post: "Well, I just got back from China. Wow! What an amazing country. I spent three days there and was sadly not able to meet all 1.4 billion of its wonderful citizens in that short time BUT . . . The folks I did meet were genuinely nice and equally excited for Jurassic World!"

Pratt and co-star Bryce Dallas Howard also shared that the franchise was a part of their childhood.

"Jurassic World" will open in Chinese theaters on June 10.
