Fans have to wait for around one more month before the most awaited premiere of Colin Trevorrow's "Jurassic World." Recently, the upcoming blockbuster is reported to be seen in Vermont two days prior to its nationwide release.
Vermont is one of the two chosen locations that will see the upcoming installment of Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park," as per Burlington Free Press. It was announced by the Vermont International Film Foundation (VTIFF); however, the other location for the advanced screening was unmentioned.
Vermont residents are set to enjoy the forthcoming film two days ahead of the nationwide release, since film helmer Trevorrow resides in Burlington.
On June 10, a pre-screening party will commence at 5:30 P.M. at the theater. Then, a special screening of the film is scheduled at 7 P.M. at Majestic 10 Cinemas in Williston.
A video was made by Trevorrow, as well as the cast of the film, specifically to the Vermont fans and it will be shown prior to the screening.
Tickets for general admission cost $25 per head and can be bought at the cinemas or online at the Majestic 10 website. Meanwhile, VIP tickets can be purchased at $100 on VTIFF's website.
Trevorrow expressed his disappointment for not being present on the day of the screening and he said that he will support the growth of their community through upholding creativity and nurturing arts.
The funds that will be collected from the film screening will be utilized to support the education program of Vermont International Film Foundation.
Meanwhile, new images for "Jurassic World" can be seen in Indiewire.
The photos feature shots of the characters in various scenes in the upcoming film. Some photos also show the cast and the crew during film production.
The film stars Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, BD Wong, Vincent D'Onofrio, Omar Sy, Brian Tee, Irrfan Khan, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Chris Pratt.
"Jurassic World" is set to premiere in theaters on June 12.
