Colin Trevorrow's "Jurassic World" has earned a PG-13 rating, which is the same rating its three predecessors had.
The reason behind "Jurassic World" getting PG-13 rating is its "intense sequences of science-fiction violence and peril, as per Rope of Silicon. The latest film ratings were made by the Motion Picture Association of America.
Trevorrow's film shared the same rating with the film "Jackie & Ryan." The latter received the rating due to its "brief strong language and some suggestive material."
Meanwhile, films that received an R-rating include "AWOL-72," "Dragon Blade," for bloody violence; "Eye In The Sky," "Pressure," "She's Funny That Way," and "Tangerine." Common elements that led to their R-rating are violence, language, sexual content, nudity, and drug use.
Among the film list, two movies have got a rated PG from MPAA. They were "Batkid Begins" and "Dovid Meyer." Both films contain thematic elements. "Tangerine" was reported to become the center of attention due to its good quality, being shot in its entirety using an iPhone.
Trevorrow's "Jurassic World" creates tension as to whether and when the fearsome beasts would attack, an element that will scare the audience out of their seats, as per Screen Rant.
The Indominus rex, which is "Jurassic World" new attraction, is anticipated to pose the biggest threat to the characters in the movie.
Some vicious moments previous trailers have shown include the Indominus rex's prehensile hands and strong jaws, allowing it to grab people. Moreover, the hybrid's powerful tail has also been featured, capable of slamming threats around it.
Another sequence that will surely increase the fans' heartbeat is the Indominus rex's attacks on the gyrosphere, with Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson's Gray and Zach inside it.
