"Empire" cast members Trai Byers, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, directors Lee Daniels and Danny Strong take part in Fox Broadcasting Company's part of the TCA Winter 2015 presentations.

After the "Empire" season 2 release date was announced, one of the hit Fox series' lead stars Taraji P. Henson dished on the cast of the upcoming season.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Henson said she has no idea who will be added in the "Empire" season 2 cast but she wants to reunite two "Mahogany" stars. She said, "My wish would be for Diana Ross and Billy Dee Williams to play my parents."

"I want the world! I want everyone on the show. Bill, Hillary, come on! Everybody!" Henson jokingly said referring to the former United States president and the former First Lady.

On May 30, Sunday, Henson won Best Actress in a Drama Series from the Critics' Choice Awards for her portrayal of Cookie Lyon on the first season of Lee Daniels' "Empire."

Fox has confirmed that the "Empire" season 2 release date is on Sept. 23. According to Henson, she is aware of the rumors that Oprah Winfrey may join the second season. The actress said, "I heard that rumor too. I won't believe it until I see it, but I'm all for it."

Meanwhile, the man who helped launch Winfrey's career has died. TV syndicator Michael King died of complications from pneumonia in Los Angeles on June 3, Wednesday, Associated Press reported. He was 67.

With his brother Roger King, Michael inherited King World Productions from their father Charles King in 1972. The brothers were responsible for the industry's leading distributor of first-run syndicated programming.

Aside from Winfrey, Michael also helped launch the careers of Dr. Phil McGraw and Rachael Ray.
