iOS 8.3, 8.4 Jailbreak Update: Jailbreakers Confirm iOS 9 Will Not Be The End Of Jailbreaking

The software giant Apple may succeed in preventing jailbreaking as the forthcoming iOS 9 is said to be the end of jailbreaking. However, jailbreakers believe that iOS 9 will not put an end to jailbreaking.

According to reports, Apple is working to develop a new security system called Rootless that will make jailbreaking more difficult than ever. Rootless will restrict the use of particular security files even at the administrative-level.

Jailbreaking is eliminating restrictions of Apple on iOS devices, such as iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, or making changes to the operating system that are not approved by Apple.

Theoretically, the Rootless security system will be a big blow to the jailbreaking community. However, parties in the jailbreaking group are confident that they will overcome the technicalities that will be introduced with iOS 9 release in 2015.

A Youtube commentator iCrackuriDevice said that though they cannot say precisely what Rootless means in terms of iOS 9 until they catch the glimpse of the firmware, they can confirm that this will not be the end of jailbreaking.

iCrackUriDevice also said that jailbreaker TaiG does not require root privileges to successfully complete jailbreak for iOS 8.0, Gospel Herald reported. This means that the jailbreakers can theoretically work around the Rootless apparatus.

Meanwhile, users of Apple devices are awaiting the release of the jailbreak for iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.2. The iOS 8.3 or the iOS 8.2 jailbreaking tool will not be released in the future as Pangu and TaiG await a software update from Apple to iOS 8.4 before attempting a jailbreak on iOS 8.3, the Latino Post reported.
