Several sources suggest that the iOS 8.3 jailbreak may be released pretty soon taking into account the different applications users are running on Apple Watch, as seen on the Internet.
A well-known iOS hacker called @comex has posted a video clip on Twitter of the Apple Watch running a Safari web browser, iDigitaltTimes reported. The smartwatch does not come pre-installed with Safari. This could mean that there is a forthcoming jailbreak for the presently unbroken iOS 8.3.
However, jailbreakers will possibly not be releasing the iOS 8.3 or iOS 8.2 jailbreak tool as yet, as jailbreakers Pangu and TaiG are waiting for the software update before trying a jailbreak on iOS 8.3.
The jailbreaking community is waiting for the release of the upcoming version of iOS 8.4. It means the jailbreak for the present version could be cracked soon enough.
The iOS 8.2 beta was the last jailbreak version. It was released in November 2014 by TAiG and was the last successful launch of a jailbreak.
Several reports suggest that the forthcoming versions may be impervious to jailbreak. According to Day Herald, iOS 8.4 could bring very interesting features and several improvements and the security and vulnerability issues could be fixed.
iOS 8.4 has addressed various problems and has removed bugs that were earlier rectified by the Apple iOS Jailbreak developers.
Also, according to reports, the software giant Apple could be working on a new Kernel level security feature known as Rootless that will make jailbreaking a difficult task. Rootless is a kernel-level feature for both OS X and iOS to prevent malware, raise the safety of extensions, and preserve the security of private data.
Furthermore, Rootless will inhibit administrative-level users from being able to access particular protected files on Apple devices. According to sources, Rootless will be a big blow to the jailbreak community on iOS, however, it can allegedly be disabled on OS X.
