VIXX is set to enter China's entertainment industry after signing a deal with Huasheng International.

Reports have surfaced that Korean group VIXX will be entering the Chinese market after signing a deal with China's Huasheng International.

The group, which is under Jellyfish Entertainment, is the first one from the talent hub to make a debut in China.

VIXX was first launched in 2012 and made headlines a year later upon releasing their hit song, "Voodoo Doll."

The all-boy group has also been capturing the attention of Hallyu followers with their unique concepts--from vampires to zombies to robots.

In July last year, VIXX staged a concert in Japan and pulled in a crowd of around 24,000 fans, showing their potential to be the next big thing in the K-pop scene.

This 2015, the group did not only partake in the BTV Spring Festival Global Gala, but also represented Korea at the KKBOX MUSIC AWARDS in Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Huasheng International has been successful in assisting other Hallyu stars to make a foray into the Chinese market. In the previous years, it has organized fan meetings for iconic Korean artists such as So Ji Sub and Park Shin Hye, among others.

"The production capabilities and experiences of Jellyfish Entertainment will be a pillar of strength for China-Korea cultural exchanges. The influence of Korean idol groups in China is growing stronger day by day, and VIXX is one of the up-and-coming groups of this generation," the company expressed.

"They will definitely serve as a good role model for Korean idol group attempting to break into the Chinese market," it further stated.

Under the deal, VIXX is expected to have an active appearance in the Chinese entertainment market, including variety shows, dramas and movies.
