The British Royal Family's residence Kensington Palace has taken to Instagram and Twitter to share the first official photos of Prince George and Princess Charlotte together, which were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middle in May.
"We're delighted to share the first photo of Prince George with his little sister Princess Charlotte, #WelcomeToTheFamily," Kensington Palace captioned the first photo of the royal babies shared on Instagram.
In the photos, Prince George is shown holding Princess Charlotte and kissing her in the forehead. Born in May, Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge will be christened at St. Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk on July 5, MTV UK reported.
Princess Charlotte is fourth in line to the British throne. Prince William's late mother Princess Diana was also christened at St. Mary Magdalene Church. On the other hand, Prince George was christened at St. James's Palace in London.
Princess George was born on July 22, 2013 while Princess Charlotte was born on May 2. They are the children of Middleton and Prince William and the grandchildren of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
As the Supreme Governor of the Church of England and Head of the Commonwealth, Queen Elizabeth II will christen Prince Charlotte along with The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, Us Weekly reported.
Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been spending as much time as they can with Prince George and Princess Charlotte at their new family home, Amner Hall, on the Queen's Sandringham Estate.
