A Still From "Kung Fu Panda"

A teaser of "Kung Fu Panda 3" in Chinese language somehow made its way into the internet, much to the excitement of the fans of the mighty panda, Po.

The teaser, which was uploaded on YouTube, is now deleted by Dreamworks and is no more available. The 50-second-clip,though, has given a sneak peek of several new characters of the sequel, including the villain.

Not much is known about the new villain yet other than the fact that it is a mysterious new creature with glowing eyes, which is posing extreme threat to the survival of Po and its gang of fighter friends, Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper and Crane.

Another aspect of the movie revolves around Po's reunion with his real father. For the first time the adorable panda's father will be shown in the movie, who had managed to survive in the raid of their village, shown in the prequel.

The father-son duo will rekindle their relationship, much to the fury of Mr Ping, Po's adopted father, First Post reported. The duo reportedly will travel to panda paradise, where Po will discover that there are other pandas like him.

The mystery villian character seen in the teaser is likely to be Kai, The Collector, who has been making the rounds all over China to subdue all existing kung fu masters, while Po is busy bonding with his real father.

Another new character introduced in the upcoming sequel is Po's love interest. Mei Mei, an aspiring ribbon dancer, catches the fancy of the fighter panda, as appears in the leaked clip.

The movie will be released in 2-D and 3-D theatres on Jan. 29, 2016. Rebel Wilson, who is dubbing for Mei Mei, has joined the voice cast, which already has Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen and Lucy Liu, Cinema Blend reported.
