Artworks By Miley Cyrus Auctioned To Raise Money For AIDS Research Foundation

Mega star Miley Cyrus wowed guests at the AmfAR gala on June 16 when she auctioned her own version of Vanity Fair cover page of Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner.

The 22-year-old star brought along with her three covers of the magazine, which were signed by Caitlyn. This was the first time the athlete-turned-reality star had publicly written her autograph as Caitlyn.

According to Mirror, the cool prints were auctioned last night at the event, where they managed to raise a staggering amount of $86,600. The identity of the highest bidder is still unknown.

As reported earlier, when Caitlyn introduced her new identity though the cover of Vanity Fair, Cyrus took the opportunity to hone her skill of photoshopping and editing the famous picture.

The Cyrus' version of Caitlyn's Vanity Fair cover, which was embellished with using feathers, glitter glue and sequins, soon went viral and was already familiar with the gala's guests.

The auction was hosted by the "Wrecking Ball" singer herself, much to the amusement of the audience. As the bidding became progressed and became more competitive, Cyrus jokingly offered to flash her left boob to the highest bidder, which she said was "oddly bigger" than her right one.

Cyrus was also presented with Inspiration Award by Kenneth Cole to applaud her work in the field of AIDS awareness. Apart from AnfAR, the singer is also associated with M·A·C AIDS Fund, for which she is a spokeswoman, the Elizabeth Glaser Paediatric AIDS Foundation, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Earlier that evening, Cyrus, who is an outspoken advocate for the LGBT community as well, walked the red carpet with photographer, poet and former contestant of Oxygen's "The Glee Project," Tyler Ford, Yahoo! News reported.

"Tyler is a queer, biracial, agender person, whose pronouns are they/them/theirs," wrote the star to caption the Ford' pic, which she uploaded on Instagram prior to the event.
