A new track by mega star Miley Cyrus has surfaced from nowhere and hit the internet on June 10, Wednesday.
The new track is titled "Nightmare" appears to be a part of the star's upcoming fifth studio album. The lyrics of the track are incredibly amazing as Cyrus tackles lost love, singing, "I woke up in a broken dream, with no one lying next to me. It's not how it's supposed to be, so why'd you have to go?"
"Nightmare" is a simmering pop tune that appears to have a similarity with Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone," including the sparse guitar opening. The upbeat and buzzy new track has Cyrus' trademark energy and twang, with a chorus that makes it a synthier, rockier production of "Wrecking Ball."
Multiple sources have reported that the newly leaked song is a sure shot hit and expected to top the charts this summer. The song appears to be collaboration with the band The Flaming Lips, with whom the 22-year-old has recently come up with another new track "Tiger Dream."
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reported that Cyrus penned the lyrics of "Nightmare" as a tribute to the relationship with her ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The break-up song, about being left heartbroken and alone, appears to be one of the most emotional track of the singer so far.
The star, who stripped off in Paper Magazine this week, declared recently that she does not have a team of writers. Instead, Mike Will just text her beats while she works on them by herself. Check out the amazing track at Fuse. The origin of the leak in still unknown.
