Pop star Miley Cyrus came out as bisexual, when she opened up about her sexuality in a recent interview with a fashion magazine.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer bared her soul and body for Paper Magazine's June 22 issue, in which she recalled how she approached her mom at the age of 14 to reveal that she is attracted towards women too along with men.
"I remember telling her I admire women in a different way," said the star, further adding that she is open to any adult above 18 and it does not matter to her whether her partner is a boy or a girl.
The singer recalled that her mother, Tish Cyrus, was taken aback at the disclosure but has now accepted her as she is. The singer, who has dated the likes of Patrick Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth in the past, however, has never been romantically linked with any female.
Apart from making the revelation about her sexuality, the 22-year old singer also made news for posing nude for the magazine. On the cover of the magazine, Miley is seen hiding her modesty behind her pet pig Bubba Sue. The inside pages of the magazine have more revealing pictures of the singer, in which she has left nothing to the imagination as she posed with strategically placed war paint in some and completey bared her nipple in other.
The pictures are shot by celeb fashion photographer Paola Kudacki, Jezebel reported.
The singer also declared to the magazine that she is not going to ignore the problem of homelessness among youth. Miley, who has founded Happy Hippie foundation, designed to raise funds and awareness for homeless and LGBT youth, confessed that she felt compelled to do something after the news of the death of transgender teen, Leelah Alcorn, went viral.
