Fans of Miley Cyrus are delighted by the newly rediscovered "Hannah Montana" audition tape of the singer-actress. The viral video shows the star in her pre-teen days.
Miley was reportedly 12-year-old when the five-minute clip was shot. Equipped with long tresses and a cute innocent pre-teen style, it seems that the star is a born entertainer as she is seen reciting her lines for the lead role in the Disney show amid the cheer of the people on the set.
The tape further features her famous handshake with her father as the two hum some lines together. The singer reveals in the tape that she is auditioning for the role of Zoey. Hollywood Life reported that writers of the show, "Hannah Montana," originally named the lead character as Zoey Stewart but later changed the name to Miley Stewart.
The show, which went on to become one of the biggest hits of Disney Channel to date, ran from 2006 to 2011 with Miley in the lead role. The musical comedy series, which also included Billy as the protagonist's father, was centered on Miley establishing her as a teen icon.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Billy, along with his youngest daughter Noah Cyrus, gave an impromptu concert during an open mic session at a Los Angeles eatery on June 2, Tuesday. Miley's 15-year-old sister gave an impressive performance on a handful of songs with her dad backing her up on acoustic guitar at Crave Cafe in Studio City, TMZ reported.
