Charlie Brown looks really sad in the official trailer of the computer-animated "The Peanuts Movie" recently released by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox.

However, fans will be anything but said, because 15 years after Charles M. Schulz drew his last Sunday comic strip, they can once again enjoy the lovable "Peanuts" gang, this time on the big screen, and in 3D.

"The Peanuts Movie" hits theaters this November. The official trailer that has whet the appetite of "Peanuts" lovers of all ages shows a sad-looking Charlie Brown making a firm resolve to be a winner.

The recently released trailer shows Lucy giving the protagonist a piece of advice as he continues to pine for the little red-haired girl. When Charlie Brown finally musters the courage to visit the girl's home with Snoopy by his side, he gets all jittery and hides in a bush beside the front door.

While the essence and characterization of the comic book characters remain the same, discerning moviegoers will not miss the artful rendering of the material, The Washington Post reported. In one scene, two-dimensional drawings of Charlie Brown in bubble thoughts are shown side by side with his 3D image.

The trailer presents lots of other amusing antics and new adventures of the whole "Peanuts" gang, the Daily Mail reported. The trailer actually brings viewers down memory lane by presenting images of Christmas, and depicting the inner thoughts and fantasies of main characters.

Glimpses of the beloved household pet who is a flying ace and dance teacher, Linus still carrying his security blanket, Sally, and Peppermint Patty along with other kids in the neighborhood entice viewers of the trailer to see the film and join in the fun.
