Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is expected to be launched in August with top of the line features, while the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 received amazing discounts up to $150. Thus, the question is whether to go in for the discounted Surface Pro 3 or wait for the new "laplet"?

Comparing the features, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has an IPS LCD of 10.8 inches with a pixel resolution of 1920x1280 pixels and a pixel density of 214 ppi. On the other hand, Surface Pro 4 is expected to have two variants of 12 inches and 14 inches. It is rumored to have a better pixel resolution of 2160x1440 pixels.

Surface Pro 3 is packed with an Intel Atom quad-core 1.6 GHz processor. The Surface Pro 4 is expected to be powered with the Broadwell or the Skylake processor.

Surface Pro 3 has two versions of 64GB and 128GB with scope for memory expansion. The successor as it is rumored to be coming in numerous variants like 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, according to Ecumenical News.

Due to the discounted price, the Surface Pro i3 model with 128 GB storage capacity and RAM of 4 GB is now available for only $899. The Surface Pro i3 model with 256 GB storage capacity and RAM capacity of 8 GB is now available for $1,499.

The Surface Pro 3 i7 model with 256 GB storage capacity and RAM of 8 GB is available for $1,399. The Surface Pro 3 i7 model with 512 GB storage capacity and RAM of 8 GB is now available for $1,949, according to DesignNTrend.

On the other hand, the much-anticipated Microsoft Surface Pro 4 price is expected to be in the range of $1,200 to $2,000.
