A longer commercial for "Dragon Ball Super" features new characters. The commercial has been streaming on the official website for the anime series.
In the "Dragon Ball Super" commercial, Goku introduces himself and says that after 18 years, it is time for a new series. "Since our battle with Majin Buu, some really incredible guys have shown up," Goku says in the promo. He reveals the names as Shanpa and the God of Destruction Beerus, according to Anime News Network.
Goku declares in the "Dragon Ball Super" commercial that he is set to fight Beerus and others with all his strength. The plot of the new anime series will take place after the battle with Majin Buu.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 1 synopsis reads, "After defeating Majin Buu, life is peaceful once again. Ordered by Chi-chi to earn money, Goku works even as he wants to train even more. Meanwhile, Goten, about to become a brother-in-law to Videl, sets out on a journey with Trunks to find her a present."
Masako Nozawa as Son Gohan, Son Goku and Son Goten, Hiromi Tsuru will be as Bulma, Ryo Horikawa will be as Vegeta, Mayumi Tanaka as Krillin, Takeshi Kusao will be as Trunks and Masaharu Satou will be as Kame-Sen'nin. Meanwhile, Kouichi Yamadera will be as God as Destruction Beerus, Kozo Shioya as Majin Buu, Masakazu Morita will be as Whis, Unshou Ishizuka as Mr. Satan, Naoko Watanabe will be as Chi-Chi, Toshio Furukawa as Piccolo.
"Dragon Ball Super" is set to premiere on Fuji TV on July 5, 2015. Stay tuned for more updates.
