Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL

Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL are the rumored flagships that are expected to release by fall this year. Even though the Redmond-based company is silent on its upcoming flagships, Ad Duplex network has listed two Lumia smartphones with model numbers RM-1104, RM-1105 and RM-1100 that are believed to be the Lumia 940 XL and Lumia 940.

According to the AD Duplex data from June 23, Microsoft RM-1100 will be coming with a Quad HD display supporting a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. However, it has not revealed the size of the display. On the other hand, the RM-1104 and RM-1105 will come with 5.2-inch display that supports full HD resolution of 1080 pixels.

The Lumia 940 XL is expected as the advanced version of the Lumia 940 handset. The former is expected to house a 25 MP PureView technology enabled rear camera that supports 4K videos shooting, Phone Arena reported. It is also expected to come with features like stylus and iris scanner.

The alleged Lumia 940 XL and Lumia 940 are codenamed as Cityman and Talkman. Rumors have it that the Lumia 940 XL will feature a Snapdragon 810 chip with 3 GB of RAM whereas the Lumia 940 will be featuring a Snapdragon 808 chipset and 3 GB of RAM.
