The highly anticipated “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel titled “Fifty Shades Darker” is rumored to have a slightly different ending from the erotic novel. E.L. James also confirmed that the second movie will have a darker theme in comparison to the first installment of the franchise.
The film producers are coming up with ways on how to make the second movie more interesting, Movie Pilot reported. It was said that when "Fifty Shades of Grey" was released, viewers who read the book were not satisfied with how the story played out in the film.
They were reportedly eager to see more sex scenes between Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). The publication speculated that "Fifty Shades Darker" will give fans what they wanted: raunchier and longer sex scenes.
In the second book, Christian attempts to meet Anastasia in the middle and compromise. The ending of the second movie, however, will not end with the couple on the same page. It was said that Christian will eventually get what he wanted and return to his ways.
Dornan was offered almost $1.5 million to do a full frontal scene in the sequel, Mirror reported. The producers also assured the actor that if he decided to show more skin, he would have some creative control on the scene.
Although it has yet to be confirmed if the actor has accepted the offer, he reportedly enjoyed the monetary benefits of playing Christian Grey. Dornan also recently slammed rumors that his wife, Amelia Warner, was jealous of Johnson. He shared that she gave him her full blessing to complete the trilogy.
