Fallout Shelter is a free-to-play mobile simulation video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios, with assistance by Behaviour Interactive, and published by Bethesda Softworks.

Bethesda’s popular free-to-play mobile game, “Fallout Shelter” has just received its first character from the upcoming title “Fallout 4” - Preston Garvey, the leader of the Commonwealth Minutemen.

Preston Garvey’s Laser Musket weapon is also available in the mobile game, for the Vault dwellers, starting today.

“Preston becomes the first ‘Fallout 4’ character available in ‘Fallout Shelter’ and your dwellers will also have the opportunity to brandish the weapon he wields in ‘Fallout 4’: the Laser Musket,” read the official Bethesda Blog.

In “Fallout Shelter,” Preston has been categorized as a “Legendary Dweller.” The gamers will be able to find him only by opening a lunchbox, which will be rewarded to players. Lunchboxes can also be purchased by the players with real-world money. However, Preston is only available as a random card in lunch boxes, GameSpot reported.

“Fallout Shelter” was launched for iOS at the E3 on June 14, along with the announcement of the much-awaited game in the Fallout franchise. In just 2 days, the game beat King’s “Candy Crush” becoming the third-highest grossing app in the United States, and also ranked among the top 5 highest grossing games on the App Store in 37 countries. In the week, following its launch, the game play sessions surpassed 70 million times per day worldwide.

Within a few weeks, the mobile spin-off, paved its way to become the most downloaded game in the App store in 48 countries and the top downloaded app in nearly 25 countries. In just 15 days, the game landed at the #1 spot at the Apple’s App Store.
