Capcom has already presented a few of the characters coming with "Street Fighter V." And even though there are mixed receptions with some of them-including Chun-Li's glitchy chest area and fans' dislike of Cammy's face-fans have been very receptive to and interested in the current roster.

However, as Capcom's Director of Brand Marketing and eSports Matt Dahlgren revealed to Event Hubs, the current roster is not yet complete as of the moment. They have yet to reveal the other characters as the release date for spring 2016 comes closer. Dahlgren did hint that the focus of "Street Fighter 5" is in putting a distinctive mark and character to each of the fighters.

Capcom designed the game to introduce a core rosters that will appeal to new players, so they will not be bombarded with an entire roster at the get-go. To come up with a roster for "Street Fighter V," the developers even created a poll within Capcom to rank the characters in the franchise.

More than the poll, the developers also ensured that they are following the goal of innovation in the brand so to achieve the kind of new game that they want the franchise to be.

"This is a franchise we expect to support for many years to come, but we will start with a very strong core roster. If you looked at how we handled 'Street Fighter 4,' it was the dominant fighting game of that generation of consoles, we're expecting the same from 'Street Fighter 5,' so we are thinking long term," said Dahlgen to Event Hubs.

Fans of "Street Fighter V" who are also dropping by the San Diego Comic-Con may want to check out the panel that will be moderated by Capcom. This was confirmed by the official schedule released for the event, where the panel will be moderated by Capcom's Francis Mao, IGN reported.

The "Street Fighter V" panel will be held on July 9, where the panel will bring more news and updates regarding the upcoming brawler game. Executive Producer Yoshinori Ono will also be a guest at the panel.
