The much awaited “Mortal Kombat X” Predator DLC release will finally happen next week on July 7, Tuesday.

NetherRealm Studios has confirmed that the Predator DLC will be available first for the Kombat Pack subscribers, and will be sold separately starting July 14, Tuesday.

"We are long overdue for another Kombat Kast !! Next one is this Monday. Or as I like to call it.... Predator-Eve," Creative Director, Ed Boon tweeted, along with an announcement teaser, iDigital Times reported.

“Mortal Kombat X” Predator is expected to have three variations - Hunter with a flying trap, Warrior with a self-detonate trap and Hish-Qu-Ten with plasma shots trap for attacking the opponents.

Early this week, YouTube channel KommunityFinishHim uploaded the fatality footage, that showed Predator impaling an opponent by a wrist blade, creating a violent throw, using combi stick for a rush, firing shoulder cannon at various ranges, creating a small explosion using self-destruct mechanism, setting traps by throwing proximity mines and smart discs, according to Game Rant.

The highly anticipated "Mortal Kombat X" Predator DLC pack is the third among the four announced by NetherRealm Studios. The first DLC pack that added the iconic horror figure Jason Voorhees to the game's characters was rolled out in May, with series veteran Tanya being release last month.

Predator will be followed by the Tremor DLC pack, which is speculated for an August release. A second Kombat Pack is also rumored to be in the works, for a launch after the Tremor DLC. However, there is no official word about “Mortal Kombat X” Tremor DLC or the Kombat Pack 2 as of now from the developer.
